Courses for Children

Individual Courses

The most intensive and effective way of studying is a one-to-one lesson. I can recommend an individual course to teenagers because the student needs to be able to stay focused during the whole lesson which usually lasts 60 minutes once a week. This ability is very individual – some children are able to concentrate for such a long time when they are 10 or 11, other children can achieve it later. I even use textbooks for adults with some children.

Mini Groups

I cannot teach pre-school children due to the lack of time - despite all the lovely sweet memories of Cookie the cat, Lulu the kangaroo and Lucy the ladybird :-).

I have chosen for my school children to set out on a journey with Super Minds. I have selected this set of English-only textbooks because children can learn a lot of extra information from subjects like biology, ecology, geography or history, apart from “just” learning English. These textbooks support independent thinking and are accompanied by a DVD where children can practise new vocabulary and expressions through a set of simple games and videos related to each unit. It makes their learning easier and more fun to practice at home.

Mini groups for school children are less intensive than an individual course and thus they are more suitable for younger children because it is easier for them to stay focused during the whole lesson.

Super Minds lessons are usually twice a week and each lesson lasts 45 minutes. English Singing Club for younger children or Beatles Singing Club for older children can complement and support learning English in case children enjoy music and like singing themselves. These courses are once a week for 45 minutes.

You can join us anytime during the school year if there is a vacancy in the course. Then your fee will be proportionate to the course fee stated. New hesitant students can pay for one lesson and come to try it out for themselves so that they could decide whether they should join the group.

Timetable for our courses from September 2019 to January 2020 is ready. If you are interested, you can join us.

If you cannot find a course suitable for you in my offer open to public, please, let me know about what course you are looking for and I will try to find other children with a given level and need so that I can open a new course for you.

Your children do not like "classical" English…

They do not enjoy memorizing new vocabulary word for word but they need to build wider vocabulary…

Let them play and sing in English naturally in a mini group of similarly disposed children.
They will get whole English sentences and irregular verbs in a playful way which they will find extremely useful when they have a common conversation in the future.
Singing supports pronunciation practice and improves speaking skills.
